This course covers fundamental electrochemistry required for principlesinvolved in electrochemical energy conversion and recentelectrochemical devices The materials to be covered includethermodynamics for electrochemistry and electrode kinetics as well asmathematical techniques necessary to tackle electrochemical problemsat the beginning of the semester We will then move on to thedescription of various electrochemical techniques and devices In thelater part of the semester we will cover various applications ofelectrochemistry
