This class will look at interactive products systems and designs We will cover how to come up with creative solutions critique ideas and talk about existing and future technologies Also we will be looking at how interaction design and emotional design can be used in everyday things Class will be a mix of discussion design critiques and idea generation techniques This class is NOT a Product Design class Our projects are focused on tapping into the possibilities of making emotional products (an angry chair a happy doorway an indecisive pencil) NOT about making a commercial product However the ideas you generate will help you in the future in your creative endeavors
