This class covers basic statistics data analysis in time and frequency domains and inverse methods The materials in the class are applicable to oceanographic time series as well as financial and other types of time series data Those who have some background on computing languages (e g MATLAB Python) and want to know various aspects of data analysis and to improve your computing skills are more than welcome The weekly schedule is shown below and the two classes on every Monday and Wednesday are expected at this point Five homework assignments (50) and two take home exams (20 for mid term and 30 for final) are planned
